Into the Sahara: A Fes Desert Journey

3 Days from Fes to Marrakech Day 1: From Fes - Midelt - Azrou - Ziz Valley - Merzouga: Today you travel with Merzouga Outdoor and we drive to Todra Gorges, passing through Ifrane to arrive at the cedar forests of Azrou where the wild monkeys are located. We will enjoy lunch in a small Berber village and we continue on to Midelt, taking in the scenery along the way. We then head towards Rich and Erfoud, feeling the beginnings of the Sahara Oasis of Tafilalet. Continuing onwards, we reach Merzouga, where we mount the camels for an overnight stay under the stars in traditional nomadic tents.
