4 Days 3 Nights Tanzania Classic

Day 01: Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park In the morning you will be collected from your hotel and after a brief introduction we depart for Lake Manyara National Park. This compact park lies alongside the escarpments of the Great Rift Valley that rise about 600m above the surrounding plain and features the unique feature of an alkaline soda lake. Large numbers of aquatic birds congregate here with over 400 different bird species recorded within its boundaries. A variety of plant life supports numerous animal populations including baboons living amongst the forested areas, giraffe browsing on the grassland or antelope grazing near acacias while elephant herds can sometimes been seen feeding beneath large umbrella thorn trees. With luck one may even spot some tree climbing lions basking lazily among the branches. As evening approaches departure back out of Lake Manyara en route to our overnight stay at Eileen's Trees Lodge http://www.eileenstrees.com , lunch & dinner included. Day 02: Lake Manyara area - Serengeti National Park Following early breakfast today’s journey takes us through lush farmland known locally as 'the bread basket', growing crops like maize, beans and potatoes until reaching the rim of the world renowned volcanic caldera just outside the southern entrance gate of Serengeti National Park midmorning. Africa’s premier wildlife reserve covers vast expanses ranging from open savanna down to dense woodland interspersed with kopje outcrops scattered across these varied terrains providing excellent vantage points for viewing predator activity throughout the year. Seasonal variations dictate when visitors experience the great wildebeest crossing but either way there should still be plenty of action happening during what remains dry weather conditions between showers if they occur briefly during the shorter rains.

3 Days 2 Nights Mount Meru Trekking

How do I decide between a 3-day or 4-day hike? We always recommend going the longer route if your schedule allows and you have not yet acclimatized to higher altitudes elsewhere (meaning you have not summited above 4,000 meters / 13,123 feet without suffering from altitude sickness). Staying longer on Mount Meru helps your body adjust faster to the elevation, making the overall experience easier on both yourself and your physical health. Day 00: Arrival in Tanzania You arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) where one of our representatives meets you and transfers you to the hotel. This accommodation offers everything needed for comfort during your trip, including warm guestrooms, internet connectivity, heated showers, a refreshing outdoor pool, and attentive service personnel. An introductory meeting with our travel organizers takes place here in the evening so we can make sure you're fully prepared for embarking on the incredible journey ahead—the ascent of Mount Meru! Day 1: Journey from Momella Gate to Miriakamba Campsite In the early hours of the next morning, someone from us picks you up directly from your lodging and transports you to the entrance gate located within Arusha National Park known as Momella Gate. While waiting there, local guides prepare by organizing gear bags filled with supplies necessary for trekking over several days. You along with your personal climbing leader must also check in officially with TANAPA - Tanzania Association of National Parks before setting off. On this initial leg of the trek, much like being part of a guided game drive safaris adventure, keep an eye out for roaming wild animals – giraffe herds, zebra stripes, antelopes grazing peacefully under clear blue skies, massive buffalos wading across riversides, plus maybe even some elephant families enjoying their natural habitat nearby trails. Because these areas often host diverse animal life, safety measures require each group participating in treks organized via official channels employ licensed rangers who carry firearms when accompanying groups throughout designated routes inside national parks. Our team does no exception to this rule ensuring everyone remains safe whilst exploring nature closely.
