TOUR OF SRI LANKA - SUMMER | 2026 ITINERARY – 15 DAYS 14 NIGHTS DAY 01: AIRPORT – NEGOMBO [1 night] 20 KMS Upon arrival at Katunayake International Airport, meet with a representative of Sunny Ceylon Travels; and transfer to Negombo for an overnight stay. [BB] • June 27th: Your first day in Sri Lanka and you'll be transferred to the hotel for an overnight stay. DAY 02 TO 04: NEGOMBO – SIGIRYA [3 nights] 140 KMS After breakfast, transfer to Sigiriya for an overnight stay. [BB] • June 28th: En route to Sigiriya, visit Dambulla Golden Temple & Cave Temples, then check into the hotel followed by a game safari in the evening at Minneriya National Park. • June 29th: In the morning, enjoy a village safari on bullock carts—this includes a tuktuk and cart ride, a boat ride, and a traditional homemade lunch. Afterward, take a sunset hike up Pidurangala Rock before returning to the hotel. • June 30th: At 4:30 AM, embark on a sunrise hike to Sigiriya Lion’s Rock, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and later return to the hotel for breakfast—then rest and relax throughout the day. DAY 05 TO 08: SIGIRYA – PASSIKUDAH [4 nights] 130 KMS After breakfast, depart for Passikudah for an overnight stay. [BB] • July 1st: Departing for Passikudah, stop off to visit the medieval city of Polonnaruwa along the way, then continue onward to Passikudah. • July 2nd – July 4th: Enjoy leisure time relaxing by the beach.
