The tour typically begins with a hotel pickup around 7:30 AM. It’s followed by a 1–2 hour transfer to the Okavango Delta NG32 concession.
You’ll be assigned a guide/pole man who will take you on an unforgettable journey through the channels of the Okavango. Born and raised in the Okavango Delta, our pole men and guides passionately share knowledge about their home. We actively support the local community in the Okavango Delta.
Our experienced pole men lead you on a journey through the delta channels. Enjoy the serenity of the delta while paddling in a mokoro. During lunchtime, you’ll pause for a picnic meal on one of the islands before your guide leads you on a nature walk—where hopefully, you’ll spot even more wildlife. Experience the calm and tranquillity of the Okavango, accompanied by hippos and vibrant birdlife, before returning to Maun.
This day trip isn’t ideal if you want to see as many animals as possible. While sightings do occur occasionally, the primary aim of the tour is to showcase the natural beauty and landscapes of the delta ecosystem. This serene and peaceful outing provides a refreshing contrast to typical busy safari experiences. Paddling in a canoe or walking along its shores offers unparalleled connection with nature.
