After this enriching experience, we then head to the wine tasting where we can enjoy five wines accompanied by local gastronomy snacks. (Not recommended for vegetarians) Here you will fully enjoy all the pleasures that the Alentejo’s vineyards have to offer. The wine tasting is included but not mandatory and can be replaced by a restaurant to be defined in your reservation. After this amazing feast, we will discover the Historical Center of Évora. Classified as a UNESCO Cultural Heritage, this town sure has a lot to visit. And on this tour, we will see it all: The famous Roman Temple, the Évora Cathedral, the main square and so much more! And to finish our adventure, we take a stroll through the garden of Évora, on our way to the “sinister” Chapel of Bones in the Royal Church of Saint Francisco. Composed of human skulls and bones, this chapel will make you feel chills down your spine! It was built in the 17th century by the initiative of three Franciscan friars, with the aim of showing the fragility of human life. And with this reflection and appreciation of life, we finish our adventure and hit the road back to Lisbon.
